Estate Planning

Estate Planning

People are concerned about what will happen with their assets upon their death or if they are ever in a state where they are incapable of making their own decisions.

We offer the following services to assist with these events:

  • Drafting wills

  • Drafting Enduring Power of Attorney

  • Drafting Personal Directives

Wills

A will is a legal document that sets out what you want to happen to your property upon your death. A will also allows you to make plans for your minor children if you should pass away.

Enduring Power of Attorney

An Enduring Power of Attorney is a legal document that allows you to appoint another person to look after your estate affairs while you are still alive. An Enduring Power of Attorney can be drafted to allow someone else to assist with your estate affairs immediately or it can be drafted so that it does not have any effect unless you become incapable of making decisions on your own.

Personal Directive

A personal directive is a legal document where you can appoint another person to make health related decisions for you in a situation where you are incapable of making those decisions on your own.
